1. Tuesday 12th April is a judging night with the set subject being “Garbage”
2. Tom Putt’s landscape tutorial was a great success by all accounts. We hope some of our members will use the techniques gained on the night.
3. The Easter exhibition was a great success. The Club raised $650 which was more than last year. The Committee thanks all those who manned the roster and helped set up the exhibition.
A special thanks to Garry Paterson(Organiser), Graeme Phillips(Ute Hire) and Ian Priestly, Joy Vinnicombe & Les Wiles ( For setting up at 9:00 every morning).
The new digital display fetched some positive comments which was much appreciated.
4. JOINT PHOTO TRAIL WITH MARYBOROUGH CAMERA CLUB: 17th April
Its envisaged that we have a social day of photographing with Goldfields Image Makers (Maryborough) on Sunday the 17th April starting at Castlemaine.
a ) Start Time : 9:15 (the little hand is on the 9 and the big hand is on the 3) at our CLUB ROOMS ready to car pool for the journey to Castlemaine Botanical Gardens. We will meet on the South side of the gardens which is Walker St at roughly 10:00 am.
Once you arrive at the gardens you will receive a name tag, a map plus a set of photographic activities to be completed along the designated route.
b) You will need to bring a picnic lunch and drinks as there wont be any time to buy lunch.
Also you might think about bringing a fold up chair as the picnic tables are scarce in our lunch area.
If you are going have a ”Red Wine”make sure you have a designated driver in your car.
Could you please return email indicating whether you will be attending this event. (boydmace@tpg.com.au)
