Hello members, as we have cancelled meetings and activities for the foreseeable future, we are looking into ways of keeping our interest in photography alive and connecting online.

Three online services come to mind, but we are reluctant to choose one without consulting with the whole community about which one suits the majority of members.

All three are free and quite simple to use. If you are unfamiliar with any of them please read the information below and view the examples.

Whichever option we choose, the Club’s website will still be the primary point of access with links taking you to the online service we choose.

This survey will close on Saturday.

Further information about each option is below:

  • We already have a closed BCC group we could post in

Disadvantages

  • If you have an account it is necessary to request to join the BCC group
  • Some do not have accounts on Facebook for ethical or privacy reasons

  • Have to remember to add ‘”#bendigocameraclub” to the description and spell it correctly
  • Works best on the Instagram app on a mobile device, with fewer features on a browser on a pc
