IMPORTANT DATES FOR JULY      July Newsletter


Tuesday 10th July  – AV Judging Night (Set Subject “Railways”)

Also hand In Your Entries with the set subject: Architecture (Definition is in the Syllabus  )

The Website is now open for you to record your entries.

                        At the conclusion of the Av judging members might like to show their work that occurred on the night shoot at the Bendigo Cemetery.  Well done to

                               all the participants that braved the cold conditions. Nineteen members in all. Splendid effort.

Sunday 8th July  – Some of us are heading to Sovereign Hill for the Christmas in July Celebrations. The program ceases on the 22nd of July so there is plenty time if you

wish to attend privately.

Tuesday 17th July – Its the night of our AGM (Annual General Meeting) for the election of the new 2018 -2019 Committee.

The meeting will be chaired by Graeme Phillips.

So far we have 6 members who have shown interest in forming the new committee. We need 8 members to form the committee.

After the  AGM the club will be showing a Vigex Collection of work by top photographers. If anyone has work to show to the members please bring   it along on the night.

Tuesday 24th July The club will be dining out at the Foundry Restaurant  (2 Old High St Bendigo.) at 6:30. Please indicate if you will be in attendance.


Future Dates To Keep In Mind.

Saturday 1st of September – Bendigo’s White Night (further info. will appear in the papers and we will be talking about it at the club.)

Saturday 8th of September – Photo shoot at the Royal Melbourne Zoo. Further info closer to the date.

Saturday 15th of September– Quad Competition will be held at the RSL premises starting at 6 o’clock, 6:00pm or 1800 hrs.

Friday 12th – 14th October – Port Campbell weekend photo excursion. A program will be devised closer to the date.

As we need to book an evening meal for the 15th of October the club needs to know how many would be interested even at this early stage.

      As you can see September is a very busy month full of Camera Club Activities.
