Sunday May 6th

  • As previously mentioned in the amended newsletter for April, the road trip with the Maryborough Club has been cancelled. However the Bendigo Camera Club still intends to go to the Clunes Festival. We will car pool at our club rooms and plan on leaving Bendigo at 9:00am.

Monday 7th May

Tuesday 8th May

  • Entries due for the next competition. The set subject is “Reflections”. The judge will be Leigh Teitz from the Shepparton Camera Club.
  • Also held on Tuesday evening will be a display of pictures club members took at the recent Castlemaine night shoot and at the Clunes Festival.   Don’t forget to bring your memory sticks along so your images can be shown on the big screen.

Tuesday 15th May

  • We will have a guest speaker (John Spring from the Melbourne Camera Club) who will give us a demonstration on how to make AV’s (Audio Visuals). This presentation will be directed at the beginner and will show you how to use Pro Show Gold which is the main AV making program. The other main program being Pictures to Exe.

Saturday 19th May

  • This is the date for this years FESTIVAL OF LIGHT AND PEACE at the Great Stupa off Allies Road Myers Flat. The festival is being held on Saturday May 19th (12pm to 9pm) and Sunday 20th (12pm to 8pm). NB – The fireworks are on SATURDAY EVENING ONLY. The address is 25 Sandhurst Town Road Myers Flat Vic. This year you will require a daily ticket costing from $5.00 per child, $12.00 per concession and $15.00 per adult. Tuesday 22nd May

  • When a month has 5 Tuesdays we usually have a Dine Out on the fourth Tuesday as a social evening of wining and dining. This month dinner will be at the Windermere Hotel in High Street Kangaroo Flat commencing at 6:30pm. Please mark this in you calendar.
