- Tuesday 14th Feb is the club’s first judging night as well as an AV (3.2.1 open subject) hand in. The judge for the evening is Ron Cork.
- Activity Night is on Tuesday 21st February This tutorial will be on Macro photography which will help with next month’s topic. If you have a macro lens or extension rings please bring them along. This will be a practical session so bring camera, lens & tripod.
- The Club extends a welcome to Richard Jefferies as a new member. Hope your stay with us is memorable.
- A Couple of Points to Ponder About Up Coming Events.
- The committee has put forward a proposal that the club invite a secondary school or college to exhibit their work at our Easter Exhibition. It’s a consideration at this stage.
- Also the committee is trying to organise a partially funded photographic excursion to Melbourne and environs on the 29th April. One of our future topics for the Set Subject is Street Photography in July. This type of excursion will provide ample opportunity to fulfill the requirements for the set subject.
It is envisaged the club hire a bus and driver and that club members pay a nominal $15 fee to take part. Further information will be on the Website and explained at our meetings.
An email will also be sent out seeing how many members would be interested.
- An event you may be interested in is the Avalon Air Show on the 4th March plus a military re-enactment. Ideal opportunity to take some spectacular action shots. This is not a club event but may be of interest to some of you.
