Around 12 club members and spouses enjoyed a dinner at the Lakeview Hotel.

Camera Club Dinner

Meeting 13th September

  • Entries due for September Competition (Print and/or DPI ). The Competition topic is ‘Balloons’

Definition:

Balloons – This must include two or more balloons. It can be a close up, or the balloons can form only a small portion of the picture so long as they are strong enough and take the attention and dominate the subject matter.

  • John Spring and other members from the Melbourne Camera Club will visit to present 10 samples of the club’s AVs, one of which received straight 10s at this year’s VAPS conference.

Activity Night 20th September

  • Activity on presenting your prints including matt cutting and using backing boards.

Swan Hill Outing 8th-9th October

The club has planned a trip to Swan Hill for the weekend. It is up to each member to arrange accommodation (http://www.murrayriver.com.au/swan-hill/accommodation/).

Some members will travel down on the Friday night, others will arrive Saturday morning. If you can’t find anyone, call Esther on 0429 949 642 or Graeme on 0407 845 827.

Location: Cnr Smith St and Woorinen Rd, Woorinen South – 10 minute drive from Swan Hill. One of the committee will have phoned ahead to make sure he opens the doors to let us in!
