  1. A reminder January’s newsletter can be found under the NEWS TAB if you wish to revise the new procedure for submitting entries.
  2. The committee is extremely pleased with the success most of our members had in entering for the fist time. Just remember when adding a title to your entry the maximum number of characters should not exceed 30.
  3. Another reminder that our membership fees are now due. Peter will be collecting the $40 next Tuesday Night before the judging.
  4. Our BBQ at the clubrooms was well attended despite the Total Fire Ban. Thanks to all who participated.
  5. Australia Day: The day was a great success with monies raised exceeding $500 despite stiff competition. A Big thanks to all those who volunteered their time.
  6. ACTIVITY NIGHT 16th Feb: Mark Fairbairn will be taking an information session explaining composition & cropping. (Looking into a photo and making other photos out of the original.)
  7. Landscape Tutorial 15th March: The committee has arranged for Tom Putt a professional photographer from Melbourne to discuss in detail various forms of Landscape photography.
  8. EASTER EXHIBITION: The exhibition will commence on the 25th March. Paid up members will be able to display 6 Prints. Further info will be released in March.
    This year it is envisaged to have a continual slide show in the back room show casing our digital photos over the past few years.
  9. VAPS Convention:
    Due to time constraints (VAPS entries must be in by the 20th March) the committee will be choosing the prints and digital entries this year. The competition secretary will notify those members chosen to bring in their prints well before the 20th march.
  10. Its envisaged that we have a social day of photographing with Goldfields Image Makers (Maryborough) on Sunday the 17th April starting at Castlemaine. Further info to follow.
