The BCC Will Resume on the 12th Jan 2016

  1. The newsletter in this format (ie. Being emailed and posted) will cease after March. All news items contained in the OLD FOCUS will now appear in the NEWSLETTER section on the new website. The committee feels this will be adequate time to adjust to having all information on the WEBSITE.
  2. The 12th Of Jan night will consist of instruction in how to put Set Subject RUST into the new Website. Also there will be 2 Av’s. One on India & the other the Southern Lights & Tasmania.
  3. ACTIVITY NIGHT: Tuesday 19th Jan. There will be a BBQ at the Clubrooms. BYO food and drink.

                                                Also bring your camera just in case you want to take shots around the lake.

4. Australia Day at the Clubrooms.

a) We need volunteers to operate our drinks stall.

b)   If you wish to exhibit your prints then the limit will be no more than 6 prints.

 

GETTING YOUR PASSWORD FOR THE WEBSITE.

Esther has sent out your user name via email (eg bcc0025). You should get an email from WordPress instructing you to go to the WordPress site to obtain your PASSWORD. (Its extremely long so be accurate and patient) Your email will read:

To set your password, visit the following address:http://www.bendigocameraclub.org.au/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=m9GkHprSwqb5hPgxsr6r&login=bcc0025>

Write it down somewhere safe. Sticky note it on the side of the computer and tell your husband not to dust there.

Procedure For Entries Via The Website

The Web Site Is Up and Running & Ready For Business. ( www.bendigocameraclub.org.au )

  1. By now you will be given an account number eg. bcc0025 and a password generated by the Web which is run by Word Press. Once you have your user no. and password go to the end TAB on the Web Page         Members               Log In (Tick Stay Logged In Box) Put in your Number & Password.

Now you are ready to submit your entries. Don’t forget to label your digital entries correctly before you start to submit (eg. The Bridge bcc0025 ) No need to put whether Set or Open. The Submit Page once you fill it in will take care of that.

When submitting PRINTS don’t forget to upload a small file ( eg. 800 x 600 )of the original print.

 

  1. Submit via Memory Stick ( The OLD way sort of) Label your entry in the normal way. Present your memory stick to one of the people entering your work using a laptop at the club. No need for a paper copy. They will submit your entries to the web on your behalf providing you have your user number & password. See your entries being submitted and learn how to do it yourself for next time.
