Patterns are elements of the scene that repeat themselves in a predictable way. Patterns canbe found everywhere and is commonly seen within shapes, colours or textures.Patterns found in nature may include:

  • Symmetries;
  • Spirals;
  • Meanders;
  • Waves;
  • Cracks; and
  • Stripes etc.
