This includes:

  • move the camera to create blur (zoom, move up or down, rotate the camera)
  • zoom in to capture details of an image
  • shoot through something
  • post process
  • photograph smoke, bokeh, light trails

Cynthia Watkins’ inspiring image ‘Crazed Grevillea’ by was the winner of our last competition. You can achieve this sort of abstract effect in photoshop by experimenting with filters.
