Suddenly the vibrant colours of Autumn are around us. This week’s challenge is to photograph the leaves

  • on the tree (maybe the tree is full of colour, or maybe you capture the last few leaves on the branch)
  • falling (try tossing the leaves in the air)
  • on the ground (maybe the leaves are contrasting with the ground or rimmed with frost)

Here are some links with tips and inspiration

Here are some examples from our cluster gallery

Les has created amazingly detailed images using focus stacking
Dave captured some super autumn colours
Linda used an artsy Photoshop filter to enhance her photo
Brian’s leaf appears to be falling (maybe some trickery used there Brian?!)

You have until next Tuesday to upload your image to Cluster. Members have all been sent an invitation to join and most have done so already. If you have any trouble feel free to email Esther. We also encourage you to leave encouraging comments for other members.

I would love to receive your suggestions/requests for future challenges. Please leave them as a comment under the challenge notification in Cluster or Facebook.

We will also post this competition on our “Friends of BCC” Facebook group so our friends can still participate by sharing their images on Facebook.
