It will soon be a new year. Let’s hope it is a much better year! This week’s challenge is to take a photo that tells a story of a new beginning. For example, if we are lucky enough to be able to photograph fireworks, we can include an extra element such as a child’s face so the image has a story. Perhaps you can photograph some other aspect of the new year, or any other sort of new beginning such as new growth from a burnt tree or unboxing a new camera :). Remember to try to include some context so the image tells a story.
Here are some stock photography examples of new beginnings from shutterstock (although not many tell a story).

And here are a couple of avian new beginnings from our cluster gallery:
As usual we will run this challenge for one week.
You have until next Tuesday to upload your image to Cluster. Members have all been sent an invitation to join and most have done so already. If you have any trouble feel free to email Esther. We also encourage you to leave encouraging comments for other members.
And thanks to the other members who have forwarded great suggestions. We have enough prompts for the next month or so, but we still love to receive your suggestions/requests for future challenges. Please leave them as a comment under the challenge notification in Cluster or Facebook.
We will also post this competition on our “Friends of BCC” Facebook group so our friends can still participate by sharing their images on Facebook.
