2017 Annual Award Competition

Axedale Golf Club is organising a Pro-Am on the 10th January. There was an article about it in the Advertiser last week.

Amongst the 50 professionals who will be playing are Bendigo's Lucas Herbert, Andrew Martin, and Kris Mueck.

The golf club are keen for our club photographers to take photos. Anyone is welcome to rock up on the day. Player Registration begins at 8:30 am. At that time you will be able to photograph players warming up on the practice green near the club house and would be able to ask some questions about etiquette on the course. Play is due to commence at 10am but may be earlier if it is very hot (>38).
If you would like to attend but will arrive after 8:30, here are some requests from the golf club:

Be mindful of the following,

1. Movement when players are addressing their ball to play a stroke, the camera operator must remain still and should not be in the players peripheral vision.

2. Taking photos must not be done when a player is addressing their ball, photos can be taken after ball contact.

3. If the camera has a silent function, e.g. does not make shutter or any noise when a shot is taken, then this function must be engaged.

Please take photos of players with sponsor signs in shot; e.g players in follow through after their shot, walking on or near tee or walking along the fairway or on the putting green.

This would allow the golf club to produce a keepsake for all of the event's sponsors.
