1. Meeting Tuesday 9th May
It is time to hand in Prints for next month’s judging. The topic is Frame — “whether it’s through an actual picture frame, a few stalks of grass, or even the spokes of a bicycle wheel, find an alternative way to frame the world around you.”
Also on the night Mal Brayshaw will present a short tutorial on editing a portrait using Lightroom and Allan Davis is putting together a short AV highlighting our Melbourne Trip.
2. Activity Night is on Tuesday 16th May
Peter Dunphy, a well respected Landscape photographer will be giving a detailed tutorial on the specifics of landscape photography. Peter also runs specialised photography tours which he will explain, hoping that some of our members will join him on one of these tours.
3. Up Coming Events
- Our first dinner will be at the RSL Club in Havilah Rd (near show grounds) on the Tues 23rd May starting at 6:30.
Please advise Val ( valdensworth@bigpond.com) if you are attending so she can arrange final numbers. - Goldfields Image Makers ( Maryborough ) have postponed their Photo Trail till later in the year around October or November.
- Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be coming up on the Tues 18th July. A date to remember if you want a say in voting in your choice of office bearers.
