August 22nd (4th Tuesday) we will go through the process of calibrating your monitor with our Spyder calibration device. Its a simple process that takes about 20 minutes. Financial members of the club can borrow the Spyder at any time.<\/p>\n
Then we will have a more detailed look at the histogram, how to interpret the graph and making adjustments for improving the contrast of an image.<\/p>\n
Finally a more detailed explanation and examples of sharpening images.<\/p>\n
After the ‘formal’ instruction you have the opportunity for us to have a look at some of the images you have been working on using the techniques we covered last night. Please bring your ‘before’ & ‘after’ image.<\/p>\n
There will be no ‘digital’ night in September as some of us will be away on the Club excursion to Vietnam. We will resume our ‘digital’ night in October.<\/p>\n
