In this newsletter we are recapping some of the events already posted plus we provide details about the Club Awards night. At upcoming judging nights and activities, you will have the chance to add your name to list for a range of upcoming events and activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
October 8 judging night<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the set subject is \u201cCandid\u201d. This is also the due date for the final AV competition of the year.\u00a0\u00a0We will also collect names for those who plan to attend the Quad Comp on this night so that we can give an indication of numbers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n October 11, 12 & 12 – weekend trip to the Grampians (Halls Gap)<\/strong> Planning for this trip is now well underway.\u00a0\u00a0A booking for dinner has been made for 6.00 p.m. on the Saturday night at the Halls Gap Hotel.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Will has developed a list of possible activities and places of interest that will be sent out to those going.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We are also exploring a good setting for sunset shoot on the Friday night.\u00a0\u00a0By this trip daylight saving will have commenced so sunset will be a bit later.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n October 15 Quad Comp- <\/strong>We will travel over to Castlemaine for the Quad Comp event.\u00a0\u00a0We will meet at the clubrooms at 6.00 for a departure at 6.30.\u00a0\u00a0On this night we are asking you to bring your prints for the end of the year competition.\u00a0\u00a0You can submit a maximum of 5 prints and 5 DPIs for this competition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n As noted above, we will need to collect names and numbers for the Quad Comp so we will be asking you to put your name on the list at the October 8 meeting.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Quad Comp event will take place at the Salvation Army Hall, 47 Kennedy St, Castlemaine. There will be a $5.00 entry fee per person payable on the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n October 22 \u2013 October social dinner <\/strong>will take place at the National Hotel at 6.30. Names will continue to be collected at the October meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n November 10\u00a0\u00a0– Royal Botanic Gardens \u2013 Cranbourne Bus Trip<\/strong> will continue to collect names for those who are planning to go on this trip at club meetings.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n December 7 \u2013 Camera Club Awards night <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Venue \u2013 Bendigo & District RSL Club, 73-75 Havilah Rd, Bendigo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Time \u2013 6.30pm (meal served at 7pm )<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cost – $35 pp. 2course meal. If you have any dietary requirements please indicate on the booking list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will start collecting names at the October meeting and there will be time to add your name at the November meeting.
