The first verified record is from a report of the first AGM in 1896 where it is stated that the Bendigo Amateur Photographic Association was inaugurated on 22 October 1895.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Association&#8217;s purpose was to provide a supportive and social atmosphere in which like-minded members may learn, improve and share their experience of photography with others.
